Wanted to make a happy ending to my sad 'Pass Slowly' picture. Eh, I'll add a small story to make it more aww-ing

Gumball finally wakes up after a week of being in coma. Penny was always next to him ever since the accident. Once Gumball opened his eyes, he immediately saw Penny to his side, praying for him to wake up. He gave a small cough at her, startling the peanut.

"Gumball?" Penny said with glee. Gumball gave a nod and stretched his back. Penny immediately hugged him hard, but still careful not to hit his wounds. She sat on the bed's edge and held Gumball's hand tight. "Gumball, we missed you so much."

"I missed you too Penny...I wanted to wake up and just hold you."

"Me too..."

"How long have I been gone?"

"A week...and I know because I stayed here with you."

"So, you've been like, you've been here for me this whole time?"

"Yeah, as a matter of fact, I feel tired." Gumball then suddenly nudged a bit to the right and gave a gesture to Penny, making her blush.

"Wanna rest?" Without any other action, Penny immediately rested herself next to Gumball and hugged him tight. The two started to cuddle each other with great warmth. Breaking the silence, Gumball whispered to Penny.

"I'm okay now. We can be together again."

"Gumball?"

"Yeah?"

"Just promise me that you'll never do that again. I don't want to loose you."

"I promise. I'll never leave you again." The two stared at each other until they slept hugging each other. The children's parents entered to see how Gumball's doing. They were all surprised to see the scene. Nicole started to cry tears of joy as she collapsed at her husband who also teared up. Penny parent's couldn't help but stare lovingly at the couple on the hospital bed.

"Awww, look at them..." sighed Nicole. Penny's dad gave a strong nod of approval.

"You know Nicole, they actually do make a great couple. I think we should let em be."

"Agreed." With that, the four parents quietly left the room, leaving Gumball and Penny in their own little heaven...
